What a month! Over 500 marketers registered for three online sessions covering subjects to help our industry professionals – from the global coronavirus crisis impacting agencies to Brexit battles and cashflow concerns.
Kicking-off the October series, our master of ceremonies and Force24 founder, Adam Oldfield, invited Alex Blaikley, media campaign director for award-winning digital agency twentysix, and Search Laboratory’s CEO Chris Attewell, to discuss marketing spend in a post-Covid-19 world.
While we’re certainly not out of the woods yet – with a UK lockdown now firmly underway – we hope this high-level debate provided marketers with plenty of tips on how to be savvy with resources when it comes to reworking their budgets.
Over 250 marketing professionals registered for the first of our three-parter as our terrific trio answered several of the 40 questions submitted. These covered how to re-evaluate digital comms strategies and why marketing automation could prove to be critical.
Adam took to the virtual centre stage mid-month to welcome returning guests Philip Allott, GDPR practitioner from Allott and Associates, and Berwins Solicitor founder Paul Berwin.
Talking all-things marketing data, the panel discussed the impact of Brexit on the industry and the evolution of GDPR since its introduction in 2018.
And following its popularity during a previous session, the three experts revisited what the abolition of the EU-US Privacy Shield means to marketers – and why it’s now illegal to store data in North America.
As well as a free guide that we’ve produced covering the Privacy Shield framework details – which you can download TODAY – the October webinar is also available to view again, HERE.
Finally, tackling the subject of the Covid-19 recovery for your marketing team, Adam and Philip were this time joined by Mike Clarke, investment director at YFM Equity Partners, for the end of October event.
Thank you once again to our brilliant specialists and the hundreds of professionals who tuned in. We’re glad that you enjoyed the content and now it’s time to plan for the next!
