We’re as renowned for our people as we are for our tech. So, once a month, we put a member of our team in the spotlight to learn more about their role, why they’re good at it, and what their advice is for the wider world of marketing…

1. Summarise your role in one paragraph

Although I am the Client Services Director, my role spans across the whole company. Having been a part of Force24’s journey since the beginning, I am the ‘go to’ person when any advice and support is required.

My main focus is leading and nurturing the services team, to ensure we provide the highest levels of support and achieve the best possible results for our customers. I am also responsible for making sure that we are hitting our monthly revenue targets.

2. What’s your favourite part of the job?

That’s a hard question to answer – there are so many elements of my role that I enjoy! Clients aside, seeing the amazing results that can be achieved when our technology and expertise works together has to be my favourite.

Overall, I just love being a part of our team! We have grown significantly, but it is amazing to see that our values have remained strong and constant throughout our impressive journey.

3. Which one word would your colleagues use to describe you?

My colleagues would describe me as motivational! I think this comes from always showing drive and determination to achieve our goals, which has reflected within the team!

4. And the word you think best describes Force24?

Agile. We are able to move quickly and easily, which allows us to adapt to the needs of all of our clients.

5. Why do you personally think Force24 stands out from competitors?

Our service. We are not just an automation platform – we are talented marketers making the best use of our automation tool for our customers.

6. The phone rings and it’s your dream client… who would it be?

We are building a strong client base in the travel industry, which is a sector I have come to enjoy working with. So, a call from Disneyland would be unbelievable – it would be an exciting opportunity and incredibly fun at the same time!

7. What’s your favourite feature within Force24’s marketing automation platform?

At the moment the new microsite builder that allows for personalised dynamic content to be used easily. But we are constantly evolving our platform, so this answer will change when the next amazing feature is launched!

I do have to give a special mention to the folder system – it means everything is kept organised within the system, which I believe is very important!

8. The office attracts quite a lot of attention from visitors. What’s the best bit?

The open plan space means that all departments can work together without being isolated. This also allows us to operate a non-hierarchical environment, which is important to us.

I can’t forget to mention Marv my Cocker Spaniel. He’s present in the office several days a week spreading joy around!

9. What is the biggest challenge facing the marketing industry over the next 12 months?

Budgets. With Brexit looming, 2019 financial plans are being squeezed across a number of industries. But we offer a really cost-effective solution, to ensure your target audience is reached to its full potential, meaning costs can be focussed in the right areas.

10. And your top marketing hack?

Have a robust plan and know how you’re going to measure success. Start simple and build from your learnings. Also share your knowledge – we should all learn from one another every day!
